Paula Camacho is a Colombian-born painter, installation artist, and aspiring muralist based in Miami, Florida. She graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2019 with a bachelor of fine arts. Her work has been included in 12 publications and she has participated in gallery exhibitions throughout the southeast. During Art Basel 2022, she held her first solo show “Entornos” in Miami, FL. She has been a resident artist at the New York Academy of Art in 2019, and is currently an artist-in-residence at Elsewhere Studios in Paonia, Colorado.
Paula’s work explores decision, transformation of consciousness, and the theory of immanence. A profound reverence for nature’s complex, entropic perfection is the animist intensity that is integral to her process.
