Ashley Lee Smith (born 1973) is an American artist currently living and working in the high desert of western Colorado. While always an artist, his first career path was as an Emergency Nurse (RN) and Paramedic. A career that gave him a unique view of the world. He spent many years crafting various arts.
A clash with lymphoma moved him from the working side of medicine and gave him another view of the world as a patient. Many life changes preceded and followed this turbulent time and led him to evaluate psychedelics.
This will be his first showing in such a public venue. The piece, “Into the Red…” is specific to his second psychedelic journey.
